About the Role

As a Associate Software Engineer (Sales)r, you’ll support our sales team with foundational technical assistance—participating in discovery calls, helping shape simple solution approaches, and contributing to demos and proposals that communicate clear product value to clients. This is a fully onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales as a junior technical resource, explaining basic product capabilities and common use cases
  • Assist with discovery to capture customer requirements, pain points, and success criteria
  • Help design straightforward solution approaches and basic proofs of concept under mentorship
  • Contribute to technical presentations and product demonstrations alongside senior engineers
  • Draft sections of technical proposals, scoping documents, and POC plans with guidance
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering to move opportunities forward
  • Research and document answers to technical questions and objections; escalate when needed
  • Maintain and continuously expand basic knowledge of our products and relevant technologies
  • Capture customer insights and share with product and enablement teams
  • Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ months of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, academic or personal projects welcome)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Basic knowledge of programming and data tools: Python, JavaScript, JSON, React, C#, SQL/NoSQL
  • Basic familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools: RAG, finetuning, LangChain/LangGraph, Hugging Face, vector databases
  • Ability to learn quickly and explain technical ideas in simple, business-friendly terms
  • Comfortable assisting with demos and presentations; open to coaching and feedback
  • Analytical thinking to help gather requirements and outline simple solution options
  • Curious, resourceful problem-solver; knows when to ask for help
  • Collaborative teammate with clear written and verbal communication
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
