What You'll Do
Be a valued member of a collaborative, multi-functional teamDevelop and maintain backend features using Java, Python, and Node.js with support from more senior engineersLearn to leverage AI tools such as Claude Code and the Agent SDK to improve development workflowsContribute to the reliability and maintainability of services owned by your teamParticipate in operational support for team-owned services, learning how to troubleshoot and resolve production issuesCollaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver thoughtful and scalable solutionsContribute to sound engineering practices such as code reviews, testing, and continuous integrationGrow your technical skills in an environment that supports your development
Who You Are
You have experience with backend development, including coding, testing, and debuggingYou are comfortable working with languages such as Java, Python, or Node.jsYou understand the fundamentals of software engineering practices such as version control, automated testing, and continuous integrationYou care about user experience and understand how backend systems impact end usersYou are curious and eager to learn new technologies, including AI-powered development toolsYou communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with teammates across disciplinesBonus points if you’ve contributed to open-source projects or built personal projects that demonstrate your interest in backend or platform engineering
