Mission
Deliver reliable, automated application deployments across all Azure environments with strong CI/CD practices, minimal risk, and fast recovery.
What you’ll do
- Write and maintain deployment automation using Python/PowerShell/Bash.
- Execute automated deployments to AKS/App Services/VMs; manage configs, secrets, and ACR images.
- Use CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) to automate build, test, deploy, and rollback flows.
- Use Terraform/Helm to codify infrastructure and application deployment steps.
- Automate pre/post deployment checks: smoke tests, health checks, dependency validations.
- Automate database migration execution with verification and rollback options.
- Maintain environment hygiene: version tracking, certificate rotation, config drift fixes.
- Ensure observability by automating logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards setup.
- Provide clear status during deployment windows and document results.
- Attach required evidence (logs, runbooks, approvals) for audits and change records.
- Follow SECM change process and participate in CAB for technical validation.
Must have qualifications
- 5–8 years in SaaS deployments, DevOps, or release engineering.
- Strong Azure skills (AKS/App Services/VMs, networking, Key Vault, Entra ID).
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, Terraform/Bicep, Helm.
- Strong scripting (Python OR PowerShell/Bash).
- Experience with SQL migration workflows and rollback patterns.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, PagerDuty/Opsgenie, and JSM.

- ≥ 98% deployment success rate.
- Automated rollback readiness for all production changes.
- 100% deployments with automated pre/post checks.
- Reduction in manual steps quarter over quarter.
- Complete audit evidence in every change ticket.
- Full SECM compliance and timely CAB participation.
People & process leadership
- Promote automation-first practices across the team.
- Ensure every change has risk/rollback captured and evidence attached.
- Maintain change calendar and coordinate deployment windows.
- Coach team members on scripting, CI/CD, and runbook quality.
- Maintain high audit pass rates and consistent evidence hygiene.
