We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure and automation strategy. Candidates must be currently residing in Egypt and possess valid local work authorization. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about building resilient AWS environments, optimizing CI/CD workflows, and integrating AI-driven efficiencies into modern operations.
What you will be doing
Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and maintain highly available AWS environments (EC2, ECS, EKS) using Terraform to ensure infrastructure is versioned and reproducible.CI/CD & Automation: Build and manage automated pipelines in GitLab CI or Jenkins, and use Ansible to eliminate manual configuration and drift.Container Orchestration: Manage the full lifecycle of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Hybrid Systems: Perform administration and automated deployments across Linux and Windows environments using Python or Bash.Networking & Connectivity: Design, secure, and troubleshoot cloud networking components including VPCs, Subnets, Route53, and Load Balancers.AI Integration: Implement and support infrastructure for AI/ML workloads and utilize AI-powered tools to enhance system monitoring and automated incident response.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4–6 years in Cloud and DevOps Engineering roles.Cloud Platform: Hands-on expertise with AWS (specifically EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, and Secrets Manager).Infrastructure as Code: Proven ability to manage production stacks using Terraform.Networking Fundamentals: Deep understanding of VPC peering, DNS, Load Balancing, and network security protocols.Containers: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes (running and troubleshooting clusters).CI/CD & Config: Solid experience with GitLab CI / Jenkins and Ansible.AI Exposure: Practical experience or strong knowledge in supporting AI infrastructure (e.g., GPU instances, model deployment pipelines) or using AI tools to improve productivity.
Nice to Have
Kubernetes Ecosystem: Working with Helm or Kustomize for manifest management.Security: Solid understanding of AWS IAM, security groups, and encryption at rest/transit.Observability: Hands-on experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.Enterprise Logging: Familiarity with SignalFX or Splunk is a plus.Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
