ABOUT THE TEAM 

UNIVERSUM is a part of Unzer Group, and it’s a leading provider of debt collection. We use data analysis and technology-driven communication, embodying the "from people for people" motto. The team of IT Operations is part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team and operates the platform and does the data processing.

What your work will look like:

  • Lead end-to-end migration of applications and infrastructure from on-premises to AWS in collaboration with the development team
  • Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architecture (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, EKS)
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and implement  K8  workflows using ArgoCD
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
  • Strong communication skills in German, particularly in coordinating with technical contacts and external bodies like the district court/SCHUFA.
  • What you need to be successful in this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with strong AWS expertise
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and proficient in CI/CD tools and ArgoCD
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch
  • Experience supporting development teams in cloud migration projects
  • Experience in data processing and ideally a background in payment processing or bank data control.
