This team supports front-office trading, reference data, finance, and risk.
The platform is built on Oracle (ODS and MSWM) with supporting systems including Sybase, DB2, KDB, Greenplum, Hadoop, and MongoDB. The team also supports BI tools such as Business Objects, QlikView, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database engineering and support for global trading applications
  • Database architecture, schema design, SQL development, and performance tuning
  • Capacity planning, maintenance, and ETL pipelines
  • Database release support, deployments, and on-call production support
  • Proof-of-concept evaluations, coding, testing, and continuous improvements
  • Collaboration with global teams and support multiple business lines
Required Technical Skills
  • 5–10 years of experience with relational databases (strong focus on DB2 Linux or Sybase)
  • Strong SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization skills
  • Database performance tuning, indexing, statistics, memory management
  • Scripting experience in Perl / Python / Unix / K-Shell
Good to Have
  • Greenplum exposure
  • Familiarity with Datalakes / Hadoop
  • Experience in finance domain
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
