Delian Alliance Industries is a rapidly growing defence technology company developing critical infrastructure for high-impact missions. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that will be responsible for designing and maintaining the scalable infrastructure that underpins this mission-critical system.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure as code, resilient distributed systems, and enabling high-velocity engineering across modern infrastructure and cloud platforms.

In this role you will get to

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure systems that ensure high availability, observability, and scalability for autonomous robotics deployments.

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe deployment across environments.

• Define and enforce cloud-native architecture, security posture, and DevOps best practices across teams.

• Drive cross-functional initiatives including multi-region deployments, real-time telemetry pipelines, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security hardening.

• Own monitoring, logging, and incident response processes as cloud services and robotics fleet scale.

• Collaborate with leadership to align infrastructure strategy with broader product and reliability goals, and represent the cloud platform in technical planning discussions.

Must have experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Infrastructure designing, building, and operating production-grade cloud systems.

• Proven experience in DevOps and/or site reliability, supporting and operating scalable production systems with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and operational excellence.

• Deep expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including compute, storage, networking, IAM, cost management, and high-availability system design.

• Mastery of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), and experience standardizing them across teams.

• Proven experience building and operating production-grade Kubernetes environments and cloud-native microservice architectures.

• Proficiency in a systems language (e.g., Go, Python) and a strong emphasis on automation and DevSecOps practices.

• Hands-on experience with observability and telemetry systems (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) and performance tuning in distributed systems.
  

Nice to have experience

• Experience with hybrid or edge-cloud architectures, IoT, robotics, or embedded systems.

• Familiarity with event-driven and streaming architectures and real-time telemetry pipelines.

• Experience leading cloud migrations, greenfield platforms, or reliability initiatives at scale.

• Experience defining org-wide SLOs/SLIs and scaling incident response and postmortem culture.

• Contributions to open-source infrastructure tooling or leadership in DevOps communities.

• Experience with deploying agentic DevOps workflows.
