Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a DevOps Engineer SME to design, deploy, test, certify, operate, and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure tools supporting a mission-critical enterprise environment. In this role, you will support the primary Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team for multiple enterprise platforms, resolve interoperability issues, perform patching and upgrades, and help ensure the reliability, security, and resiliency of the infrastructure that underpins the broader ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have experience building in AWS or other cloud environments and be an expert in architecting, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, ideally within AWS EKS. This role requires strong proficiency working across both Linux and Windows operating systems, along with hands-on experience integrating and supporting core DevOps tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Artifactory. Candidates should also be familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and have experience running and maintaining Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, and Python-based automation to support consistent, scalable, and secure deployments. This position is on-site in Chantilly with no remote option.
Key Responsibilities
· Architect, design, deploy, test, certify, and operate complex DevSecOps infrastructure tools within Top Secret enclaves
· Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues across operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
· Deploy and configure services using infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) providers.
· Configure and manage Linux-based servers to support dynamic web applications.
· Debug and support cluster-based computing architecture.
· Install, configure, and maintain open-source monitoring and observability tools.
· Partner with development and security teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines align with DevSecOps best practices.
· Use scripting and programming (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate deployments and improve system reliability.
· Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
· Support a multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
· This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.
