DevOps Office is looking for a DevOps Engineering Expert in Washington, D.C..
ABOUT CLIENT
We are currently in the discovery phase of a large-scale modernization initiative. The project aims to transform an existing monolithic enterprise system into a modern, scalable, cloud-based architecture within the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Azure environment.
The core objective is modernization: migrating and rebuilding a complex legacy system into a secure, high-performance, and future-ready cloud solution.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years as a DevOps engineerStrong knowledge and experience with Azure servicesHands-on experience with Azure DevOps or Jenkins CI/CD tools for building, testing, and deploying software applicationsSolid understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Azure infrastructure and application-related issuesDirect experience with the United States Department of Energy (DOE) preferred (strong federal experience without DOE may also be considered)This role requires eligibility to work on U.S. federal government projects (U.S. citizenship required per contract terms)Excellent communication and collaboration skills Advanced level of EnglishWillingness and ability to work onsite five days per week (Monday–Friday)
