Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end security evaluations for embedded products under recognised certification frameworks such as SESIP, PSA Certified, EUCC, GlobalPlatform TEE, and Common Criteria.
Analyse product architectures, identify security risks, and define effective evaluation strategies.
Perform and review vulnerability assessments covering hardware, firmware, and low-level software.
Guide penetration testing activities and coordinate technical security assessments.
Review technical reports and evaluation deliverables while ensuring high-quality standards.
Present security findings and recommendations to customers and technical stakeholders.
Support certification activities and collaborate with industry experts.
Mentor junior security engineers and contribute to internal security methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Experience
4+ years of experience in embedded security, hardware security evaluation, certification, vulnerability research, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis (comparable to AVA_VAN.2 / AVA_VAN.3).
Experience working with security certification schemes such as SESIP, PSA Certified, Common Criteria, EUCC, or GlobalPlatform.
Strong understanding of embedded architectures, including MCUs, MPUs, SoCs, Secure Elements, and Trusted Execution Environments (TEE).
Knowledge of hardware security concepts including secure boot, Root of Trust, secure provisioning, debug protection, isolation, and cryptographic services.
Experience reviewing firmware and low-level software written in C, C++, Rust, or Assembly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect hardware and software security.
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with firmware reverse engineering, hardware interface analysis, protocol analysis, exploit development, or hardware-assisted security testing.
- Knowledge of RTL review or hardware design analysis.
- Experience developing security evaluation methodologies, certification processes, or technical training.
- Participation in industry groups related to GlobalPlatform, PSA Certified, SESIP, Common Criteria, or EUCC.
