At JFrog, we're reinventing DevOps to help the world's greatest companies innovate – and we want you along for the ride. This is a special place with a unique combination of brilliance, spirit and just all-around great people. Here, if you're willing to do more, your career can take off. And since software plays a central role in everyone's lives, you'll be part of an important mission. Thousands of customers, including the majority of the Fortune 100, trust JFrog to manage, accelerate, and secure their software delivery from code to production – a concept we call "liquid software." Wouldn't it be amazing if you could join us on our journey?

As a Fullstack Engineering Manager within the Platform Services group, you will lead the Frontend core team, which forms the backbone of our platform's frontend development. We are seeking an experienced engineering leader who still loves to code — with a strong frontend background and full-stack capabilities. This is a hands-on role (30–40% coding) focused on frontend infrastructure, libraries, and tools for JFrog's entire frontend community, with backend work supporting that mission. The role demands strong people management, technical vision, and integrity, while leveraging cutting-edge web and cloud technologies.

As a Fullstack Engineering Manager at JFrog you will...

  • Lead a platform infrastructure team that builds the foundation every product team depends on to deliver value to customers.
  • Manage multiple projects end-to-end — balancing competing priorities to ensure the most impactful work reaches customers first.
  • Identify risks and remove blockers — surface issues early and make decisions that keep the customer-facing roadmap on track.
  • Improve engineering velocity — streamline workflows and reduce friction so the organization ships more value, faster.
  • Contribute to a unified Design System — deliver a consistent experience that makes the platform feel like one product.
  • Enable teams to ship independently — own the architecture that lets product teams develop and release without stepping on each other.
  • Own the server layer — ensure customers get a fast, secure, and reliable platform from login to every interaction.
  • Drive platform modernization — lead migration efforts that improve velocity and quality without disrupting existing users.
  • Raise the quality bar — define testing and release standards so customers experience fewer bugs and more polished features.

To be a Fullstack Engineering Manager at JFrog you need...

  • 10+ years of industry experience with 3+ years of experience in managing engineering teams building large-scale web applications.
  • You grow people — developing engineers at every level and creating a culture of ownership.
  • You shield and unblock — protecting your team's focus and removing blockers before they stall delivery.
  • You communicate up and across — translating technical trade-offs into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
  • You run toward production incidents — facilitating blameless post-mortems and turning failures into improvements.
  • Deep experience with a modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or Angular) — this is where most of your technical energy will go.
  • Strong TypeScript proficiency and a belief in type safety as a lever for quality at scale.
  • Experience with microfrontend architecture or other large-scale frontend patterns for scaling development across teams.
  • Working knowledge of Node.js/Express — API design, caching, and session management. Backend supports the frontend mission, not the other way around.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and modern build tooling.

Advantages

  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployment.
  • Familiarity with observability tools — tracing, log analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with multi-tenancy — serving single-tenant and multi-tenant deployments from a shared codebase.
  • Background in Design System development — shared component libraries and scaling UI consistency.
