This role offers the opportunity to lead a small, high-impact engineering team focused on developing scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions. As an Engineering Manager, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, guiding your team through design, development, and deployment of core product functionality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product, data, and behavioral health specialists to ensure that engineering initiatives align with business and user needs. This position thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where leadership, mentorship, and technical excellence directly influence team performance and product outcomes. Your contributions will shape both the technical vision and execution of critical projects while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small engineering team, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth
  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of core product functionality with focus on scalability, security, and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Data, and Clinical teams to align engineering initiatives with business objectives
  • Establish and maintain best practices across software development lifecycle, including architecture decisions and platform evolution
  • Manage team performance, project timelines, and delivery outcomes, balancing short-term execution with long-term technical vision
  • Facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders to ensure project alignment and clarity on goals
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of overall engineering experience with at least 1 year in a management or leadership role
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
    • Proven experience in developing enterprise or consumer web applications
    • Hands-on technical proficiency and familiarity with AI tools, Agentic development, or workflow automation
    • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
    • Demonstrated project management skills and a results-oriented mindset
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative, inclusive work environment
    • Preferred: prior startup experience, familiarity with SSO, integrations, and partnerships
    • Benefits:
