Compliance & Legal Technology builds software that supports compliance controls such as trade surveillance, communications monitoring, regulatory reporting, and related workflows. You will work closely with Frontend and Backend Engineers, as well as Compliance and Legal stakeholders, to deliver reliable user-facing applications used in high-volume operational processes.

Your Future Role within QRT

You will...

  • Build and maintain frontend applications using React and Next.js for compliance and surveillance workflows
  • Translate complex regulatory and trading concepts into clear, deterministic, workflow-driven interfaces
  • Design and implement consistent UI patterns for alerts, investigations, and dashboard-style views
  • Integrate with REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, failures, and real-world edge cases
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions including state management and performance optimisation
  • Maintain high engineering standards through code review, testing, and long-term maintainability practices

Your Present Skillset

  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
  • Experience building data-heavy applications with complex workflows and large datasets
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous data handling, and error states
  • Strong engineering judgement around correctness, predictability, and UI behaviour
  • Familiarity with scalable state management patterns (e.g., Redux Toolkit or equivalent)
  • Experience with component libraries for internal tools (e.g., Material UI)
  • Experience with data grid frameworks (e.g., AG Grid or similar)
