As a Frontend Engineer at RenoFi, you’ll build the core user-facing systems that power renovation financing in the U.S. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle—discovery, prototyping, iteration, and shipping - to deliver features used by homeowners and internal teams navigating complex renovation workflows.
You’ll partner closely with product and design to solve real operational and financial problems, improve existing flows, and develop new capabilities as we scale. You’ll work in modern frontend stacks, own features end-to-end, and contribute to a platform that’s reshaping how an $800B market gets financed.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
You’ll help us expand the core Renovation Underwriting platform that powers our After Renovation Value lending You’ll build the systems that help us automate workflows, integrate AI into decisioning and structure renovation, property, appraisal and other data Own and deliver larger features from design to productionTake end-to-end responsibility for the quality, reliability and maintainability of your codeWork autonomously managing your own time and priorities Collaborate with team members in Product, Design and Data Stay on top of modern engineering tools relevant to our tech stackBe open to using latest AI tools to support and accelerate your workTest your code using code and no-code test frameworksIdentify and resolve issues using Sentry / DataDogIdentify tech debt and propose improvement plans to our tech stackOptimize for performanceParticipate in on-call rotations as required Participate in the shared team goals, eg: provide feedback through PR processBe an active, inclusive participant and not a passive listener as part of our agile ceremonies
ABOUT YOU
You have 4+ years of front-end experience You have 2+ years of React experienceYou are comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and can adjust your focus without losing momentumYou are curious about new technologies and AI tools and use them to support your workYou are proactive: you don’t wait for instructions, you ask questions, clarify goals and requirements and suggest better ways of doing thingsYou are self-sufficient and enjoy owning features and productsYou have a strong eye for detail: you not only care about how things you build look and feel, but also about their performance and responsivenessYou have strong foundational knowledge of modern CSS / responsive developmentExperience with GraphQL/Apollo is a plusYou have experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as NetlifyYou have experience with React testing libraries & writing unit / E2E tests; “no code” tools like DataDog are a bonusExperience working and collaborating in distributed teams is a plusPrevious startup or agile product team experience is a huge plus
