Bluesight is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on our 340BCheck product. 340BCheck helps our customers ensure complete and continuous 340B program compliance through automated auditing across multiple data sources, comprehensive documentation, and centralized communication and collaboration.

You can expect to

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teammates on product development
  • Build and maintain back-end API components in FastAPI
  • Develop and implement front-end interfaces using React
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and monitoring
  • Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and reliability
  • Help translate business requirements into technical solutions alongside product and design partners
  • Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback, and follow engineering best practices
  • Continuously learn and grow your skills, staying curious about industry trends and emerging technologies

  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Working knowledge of Python and FastAPI backend development
  • Experience building applications with React with Typescript
  • Familiarity with writing tests (unit, integration) to support code quality
  • Understanding of SQL database systems (MySQL)
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a willingness to dig into technical challenges
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and comfort working in a team
  • Experience with and familiarity with AWS cloud services
  • A proactive, self-driven attitude towards learning and continuous improvement

  • PreferredQualifications
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data
  • Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure as code
  • Experience with CodeBuild and CI/CD pipelines
