The HD Mapping team is seeking an experienced fullstack engineer to lead the development of the web services that supports creation, cataloging, and maintenance of the HD maps deployed to Zoox’s fleet. This role will be instrumental in scaling our mapping operations across cities.
In this role, you will:
Own and architect backend services (FastAPI) for the HD Mapping team's web infrastructureSupport development of frontend tools for interacting with Zoox’s maps Automate complex pipelines and workflowsMentor team members on web technologies and distributed systems
Qualifications
3 years or more of industry experience in backend development and distributed systemsComfortable establishing guidelines and refactoring existing code to follow best practicesKnowledge of database design and API developmentProven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with React, Typescript Experience with Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, and ArgoCDKnowledge of geospatial data and coordinate systemsExperience automating complex workflows (Airflow)
