The role calls for an Infrastructure Platform Engineer to help us build and maintain the foundational systems that power developer workflows at Spotify. You'll work on CLI tooling, automation infrastructure, linting platforms, and integrations trusted by numerous engineers every day.
This is a hands-on role, involving building new systems, debugging older ones, and working closely with other teams across Spotify. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and domains while developing deep expertise in developer tooling and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and platform tooling that supports developer workflowsCollaborate with a multi-functional team to enhance and streamline the developer experienceContribute to the standardization and automation of development workflows across various platformsMonitor, tackle, and improve system reliability and performanceParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response as neededEngage in continuous improvement practices to identify and address difficulties in our infrastructureParticipate in supporting developers through our support channels
Who You Are:
Experience with infrastructure, platform engineering, or developer toolingAbility to work optimally with AI toolsProficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar)Comfortable working in the command lineExperience with CI/CD systems or build toolingCuriosity about how things work and an aim to improve themStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive demeanour towards learningExperience with Bazel or similar build systemsBackground in mobile (iOS/Android), web, or backend developmentExperience with mono-repo tooling and workflowsExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools

This role is based in London or Stockholm We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
