Position Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of internal machines and equipment. The Internal Production Support Engineer handles incident resolution, system monitoring, root cause analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks to minimize downtime. This position also serves as a liaison between development, operations, and business teams to support seamless internal workflows.
Responsibilities
Tool bring-up and qualification, including execution of qualification levels 600, 700, and 800
Incident management and troubleshooting using monitoring tools such as ITRS, Splunk, and Datadog
Root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production incidents and implementation of permanent fixes
Automation and scripting (Shell, Python) to reduce manual and repetitive tasks
System maintenance, including batch processes, upgrades, and ensuring server/network functionality
Cross-functional communication and documentation of procedures
Supporting release deployments and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, equipment troubleshooting, or technical support
Strong troubleshooting skills, adaptability, ownership during incidents, and ability to remain calm under pressure
