Location 2: Cebu IT Park, Cebu (Hybrid, 1x week in the office in the future) 
  

 

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be a guardian of stability and an engine for evolution. You will drive the performance of a large-scale, mission-critical POS platform, ensuring real-world reliability in high-availability environments. This is a unique "Bridge" role: you will maintain the backbone of our legacy systems while spearheading the transition into modern .NET Core and Containerized architectures.

 

 

What You Will Do

• Drive Evolution: Act as a lead contributor in evolving C# .NET and SQL Server applications.
• Master the Data: Optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures that power critical business workflows.
• System Integration: Enhance Windows Services and background processes integrated with external hardware.
• Ensure Continuity: Diagnose and resolve production issues in on-premises environments, ensuring zero-downtime performance.
• Modernize: Identify opportunities to transition legacy components into scalable, modern solutions.
• Agentic AI: You'll have the opportunity to embrace the new wave of transformation for software engineering (Agentic AI / AI-SDLC) and continue to be relevant in the industry

 
Your Technical DNA

• SQL Server Mastery: Deep proficiency in database design, query optimization, and maintenance.
• Expert C# .NET: Strong grasp of the .NET runtime, asynchronous programming, LINQ, and memory management.
• Modern Web Stack: Proficiency in ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs (Middleware, DI, Hosting).
• Data Access: Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
• Modern Tooling: Knowledge of Docker and containerization strategies.
• Autonomy: A proactive problem-solver who can navigate complex codebases independently.
• Communication: Clear, effective English for global team collaboration.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with Legacy Systems (VB6) or COM/ActiveX integration.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (Azure, Terraform).
