We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer & Team Lead to join our team. You’ll be part of a group tackling complex, high-load projects across industries like logistics, e-commerce, and beyond. In this role, you will
Design and develop high-performance tailored software solutionsSet coding standards and project-specific best practices to ensure the production of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software solutions, and participate in code reviews to uphold these standardsTake full ownership of projects, from coding and implementation to planning and completion, ensuring technical issues are managed efficiently while mentoring team members and improving team practices to ensure project successShape technical offerings and solution proposals for potential and existing clients, ensuring they align with business needs and our engineering capabilitiesIntroduce and implement new, relevant technologies that align with project goals and the organization’s technical directionProactively anticipate project risks and communicate potential impacts and solutions before issues escalate, ensuring smooth project deliveryManage stakeholders and drive the implementation of technical solutions that align with project goals, effectively communicating insights and expertiseLead the team by fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment, providing constructive feedback, mentoring, and driving continuous improvementLead by example on how to improve delivery speed and quality in day-by-day work
What you will bring
Proven hands-on experience building and maintaining complex back-end systems with modern server-side frameworks, alongside strong expertise in relational databasesA strong commitment to industry best practices in software development and security, with a focus on maintaining high standards for coding and project guidelinesActive involvement in code review processes to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practicesExperience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ or similar systemsAbility to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, ensuring software reliability, functionality, and performanceAbility to adapt and apply new technologies that align with project requirements and technical strategy, while remaining comfortable and effective in ambiguity and rapidly evolving contextsProven skills in requirement analysis and designing high-quality software solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainabilityExperience in mentoring and guiding team members, fostering an environment of innovation, teamwork, and continuous professional growthProactive in identifying potential project risks and effectively communicating possible impacts and solutions to ensure smooth project executionLeading people, setting career paths and goals, acting like manager for themExperience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and cloud architecture is a plusStrong proficiency in communication in both English and Lithuanian
