We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

You will be the architect and builder of the next-generation developer experience for our core storage systems, directly impacting how our engineering teams innovate and deliver. This role is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of highly scalable, secure, and integrated platform tools. You'll partner closely with development and infrastructure teams to define and deliver the frameworks that manage and deploy our massive global machine fleet, turning complex infrastructure challenges into simple, rewarding solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and enhance core features of the Dominator ecosystem (primarily using Go), focusing on high-scale infrastructure automation for configuration management, image deployment, and secure fleet synchronization across cloud and on-premises platforms.

  • Drive the design and implementation of new subclusters within the platform, specifically owning solutions for Identity and Access Management and Virtual Machine Management to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the entire infrastructure.

  • Significantly improve developer velocity by automating and optimizing infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operations workflows, turning multi-step manual processes into single, seamless operations.

  • Identify critical system bottlenecks and technical debt within the distributed machine fleet, implementing robust, high-performance solutions to ensure unparalleled system stability and operational excellence.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, security, and operations teams to define platform requirements and drive end-to-end impact that accelerates product delivery and maintains our industry-leading reliability.

WHAT YOU BRING

      • Deep proficiency in the Go programming language and experience building high-performance, concurrent systems.

      • Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed systems and associated configuration management tools.

      • Strong practical knowledge of Linux systems internals and experience with system automation, shell scripting, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

      • Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and/or experience with Virtual Machine Management platforms (like OpenStack).

      • An engineering mindset focused on robust solutions, demonstrated by excellent code review skills and a commitment to writing comprehensive tests.

      • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
