We are looking for an experienced engineer to help us build the key device analysis capabilities across the Android ecosystem. This role focuses on deep, systems-level engineering to design and implement a cutting-edge security solution. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize the collection of high-entropy device signals while implementing a multi-layered defense against OS-level compromise, all within the bounds of Google's policies.
What You'll Do
Take full ownership of implementing our device identification solution on the Android platform, including phones, tablets, Android TV, and Wear OS.Implement robust, multi-layered root detection techniques to identify and defend against OS-level compromise.Integrate with Google Play Services, particularly the Play Integrity API, to assess device and application integrity verdicts.Be a part of a cross functional team - collaborating closely to ensure the Android implementation is secure, performant, and aligned with the team's overall strategy.Analyse the available data using tools like BigQuery to find patterns, analyse impact and improve our offering. Work across the stack using diverse technologies like C++, Kotlin, Java and Scala.

Where You'll Be
This role will ideally be located in the UK, Sweden, or potentially one of our other EMEA locations *excluding France for now due to on-call restrictions.We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
