This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Platform Engineer (Azure/AWS) in Spain.

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to shape and scale modern cloud platforms within a fast-evolving, data-driven environment. You will act as a key technical authority for cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and platform reliability, enabling engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions. Working in a fully remote setup, you will design and evolve infrastructure that supports large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You will play a central role in defining CI/CD standards, automation frameworks, and cloud-native best practices. The position requires strong ownership and a proactive mindset, with influence over critical technical decisions across teams. You will also contribute to mentoring engineers and advancing the overall DevOps strategy in an international, highly collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • You design and evolve scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps architecture across multiple environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
  • You define and maintain CI/CD standards, reusable templates, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency across engineering teams.
  • You take ownership of platform reliability, availability, incident response processes, and operational excellence in production systems.
  • You drive Infrastructure as Code adoption and automation at scale to streamline provisioning and deployment workflows.
  • You collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to guide platform decisions and ensure alignment with cloud strategy.
  • You mentor engineers and contribute to shaping the DevOps roadmap, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements:

    • You bring 5–8+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles within production-grade environments.
    • You have strong hands-on expertise with Azure and/or AWS, including designing and operating cloud-native architectures.
    • You demonstrate advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipelines at scale.
    • You have strong knowledge of containers, orchestration technologies, and cloud-native design patterns.
    • You are experienced in designing secure, highly available, and resilient production systems.
    • You have a strong ownership mindset and the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
    • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks is considered a strong plus.
