Accountabilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components that power our platformContribute to data pipelines and processes (ELT/ETL) for real-time and batched data extraction, processing, and transformationBuild and maintain integrations with data providers using various data transfer protocolsSupport and develop backend services and infrastructure components across the broader platformDrive engineering projects from start to finish with high ownership and autonomyCollaborate cross-functionally to support team goals beyond core data engineering responsibilitiesEnsure product and data quality through manual and automated testing, along with code reviews
Requirements
8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Data EngineeringStrong backend development skills, including building and supporting REST/gRPC APIs and servicesExperience with complex SQL queries and technologies like Redshift, Clickhouse, Trino, StarRocks, Apache Iceberg, or similarFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and their data-related servicesA proactive approach to tasks and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
