About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join a small, high-impact platform team responsible for building and scaling a cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute to both the design and implementation of infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and developer experience, while helping evolve a modern, production-grade platform.

You’ll be expected to operate with a high level of ownership, contributing across the full lifecycle, from architecture decisions to hands-on delivery and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure, improving scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across environments
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ensuring modular, reusable, and consistent deployments
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) across application, data, and infrastructure layers
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes (EKS) workloads, including deployments, scaling, and production troubleshooting
  • Work across a wide range of AWS services, including compute (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups), and event-driven systems (API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, Step Functions)
  • Manage and optimise data services such as RDS (PostgreSQL) and ClickHouse
  • Automate infrastructure and environment setup using tools such as Packer and Ansible for AMI creation and configuration
  • Implement and improve observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and centralized logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, ELK)
  • Collaborate with developers and data engineers to improve deployment workflows, system reliability, and platform usability
  • Apply security best practices across infrastructure, including IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production systems
  • Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS across compute, networking, and serverless services
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments (EKS preferred)
  • Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration concepts
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting in production systems
  • Experience working with centralized observability platforms (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, ELK, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, and production operations
  • Experience working across both Linux and Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience building AMIs using Packer and configuration tools such as Ansible
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
  • Ability to design systems and implement them hands-on in production environments
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in a small, fast-moving team
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling or operating Kubernetes clusters at a larger scale
  • Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and cross-account IAM roles
  • Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL (RDS) and/or ClickHouse
  • Exposure to real-time or streaming systems
  • Experience with specialised pipelines such as Unreal Engine workflows or Pixel Streaming infrastructure
  • Benefits

  • Fixed Shifts: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST (Summer) | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST (Winter)
  • No Weekend Work: Real work-life balance, not just words
  • Day 1 Benefits: Laptop and full medical insurance provided
  • Support That Matters: Mentorship, community, and forums where ideas are shared
  • True Belonging: A long-term career where your contributions are valued
