RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for key components of the Xsolla platform.Architect and evolve microservices-based systems to support large-scale, high-performance operations.Implement and optimize database structures and queries for maximum efficiency and reliability.Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance across distributed services.Lead efforts to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability.Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.Drive continuous improvement through automation, testing, and proactive system monitoring.Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of professional experience in backend development (with Go).Proven experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures.Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in query optimization.In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and asynchronous communication patterns.Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.Solid understanding of software design principles, OOP, and clean architecture.Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or similar) and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.Proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation.
Nice to Have
Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber.Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.Background in distributed systems, caching layers, or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).Exposure to gaming, fintech, or digital asset platforms.
