We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing team focused on building and scaling advanced graph-based backend systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the core services that power a cutting-edge authorization graph platform, enabling secure and actionable insights for enterprise identity management. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams to deliver highly scalable, performant, and reliable backend solutions. Accountabilities:
Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs to support a graph-based authorization platform.Develop, optimize, and scale graph features to support actionable intelligence across multiple products.Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability in both cloud and containerized environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, software engineers, and security experts—to deliver features that meet business and security objectives.Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing to maintain operational health and compliance standards.Continuously improve backend architecture, code quality, and development processes through code reviews, testing, and refactoring.Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to drive innovation in backend systems and graph analytics.Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience, with a focus on data modeling, identity, security, or related areas.Experience building and optimizing databases, storage layers, query engines, or similar tooling.Deep understanding of graph algorithms, relational algebra, and complex data modeling.Proficiency with graph database systems (e.g., Neo4j) and OLAP systems.Experience with backend programming languages such as Golang or Kotlin.Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and microservice architectures.Familiarity with caching mechanisms, distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:
