About the opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who excels at the intersection of technical execution and strategic problem-solving. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with a clear growth trajectory as our team and business operations continue to scale.
In this role, you are a technical partner to the business. You will take the lead in discovering operational challenges within the organization, identifying hidden pain points, and translating them into robust technical solutions that improve internal processes. We value engineers who are proactive, independent, and have a strong desire to explore new tools and methodologies to drive organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and lead the resolution of business challenges by translating complex operational needs into streamlined technical roadmaps that improve company-wide efficiency.

Design and maintain high-performance Web Applications and Microservices following MVC architecture using Python (FastAPI) and HTML/JavaScript.

Architect and implement internal services and integrations following REST best practices to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.

Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, effectively communicating the value of technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.

Continuously research and adopt new tools or methodologies to automate high-touch manual processes and resolve persistent business pain points.

Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from initial discovery and data schema design to deployment and Unix-based operational support.

Requirements

5+ years of backend development experience with Python and / or Java, including
deep knowledge of modern asynchronous frameworks (preferably FastAPI).

Proven experience building integrated web applications using REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript.

Practical understanding of MVC architecture and a commitment to REST best practices.

Advanced proficiency in modern SQL (PostgreSQL), with the ability to design schemas and optimize queries for complex business logic and data integrity.

Solid experience with Unix/Linux systems for development, debugging, and operational management.

Practical experience with Docker and GitLab CI/CD for containerization and automated delivery.

A proactive mindset with the ability to independently discover challenges and drive high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical peers and non-technical business partners.

Nice to have

Prior experience in Fintech or Crypto industries.

Familiarity with Treasury Management or Compliance (KYC/AML) systems.

Experience in building and scaling internal business automation tools.

A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the Python and DevOps ecosystems.
