Your Mission
As a Senior Database Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of complex database systems that drive mission success. You’ll oversee the architecture, implementation, and performance of data solutions—ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability across the enterprise.

A Day In The Life Consists Of:
Leading database design, development, and implementation across multiple projectsDirecting the creation of database parser and loading softwareDesigning and optimizing complex database structures that align with system architectureManaging data flow, storage, retrieval, and analysis to support mission-critical operationsDirecting the translation of requirements into database schemas using scripts, queries, and macrosOverseeing the development of cloud-based database systems using Open Database ConnectivityGuiding performance tuning, version control, and configuration management best practicesEvaluating and directing improvements to database processes, storage efficiency, and reliability
Must Haves:
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceTen (10) years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or universityFive (5) additional years of DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree
Nice To Haves:
Advanced experience with cloud-based and distributed database environmentsStrong understanding of database performance optimization and data governanceExperience with version control, configuration management, and CI/CD integrationAbility to mentor and guide junior engineers in database best practices
