This role is for a Senior Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Ops Engineering resource. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be engaged in the development process.
Key Responsibilities/Skillsets:
Work independently with teams on project/platform for setting up platforms and environments using the following tech stack:Terraform Azure Private DNS Zones & Private DNS ResolverVNet/Subnets & NSG/ASG & Route TablesAzure FirewallApplication GatewayAPI Management ServicesContainer Apps, Functions & Web AppsService Bus & Event Hubs & Event GridsStorage Accounts (Blob, Table, Queue, Data Lake) & Key VaultsVMs - Windows & LinuxAzure SQL DBs & Managed SQLAzure VPNAzure Monitor - Log Analytics & AppInisghtsAzure PoliciesEntraUsers & GroupsEnterprise Applications & App Registrations as well as secrets & CertsEntra Cloud SyncConditional AccessAzure DevOps : This is split responsibility so is a lower priority.These are technology the data team owns but we support so is not a core fucus:DatabricksAzure Data FactoryFabric & PowerBI
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience/expertise working as a Cloud Azure Engineer with robust understanding of AzureHigh level of English proficiency required to interact with a globally-based development team.Communicate in a clear and understandable manner with clients, and be able to articulate the details of the designed architecture using the appropriate level of technical language.Natural leader with critical reasoning and good decision making skills.Have extremely good knowledge on Azure N/W, Terrafform, Firewall.Ability to work on multiple parallel projects and utilize time management skills and multitasking capabilities.Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools.Demonstrate mentorship and thought leadership to engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.Demonstrated innovative thinking within teams for problem-solving.
