This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, build, and maintain highly scalable and secure infrastructure that enables efficient software delivery across multiple cloud environments. You will take ownership of complex systems, implementing automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code to optimize workflows and operational reliability. The position requires hands-on engineering while leading initiatives that improve performance, security, and scalability for critical applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and influence technical strategies that shape long-term infrastructure direction. This role provides visibility across multiple projects and the chance to have a measurable impact on both platform stability and business outcomes. Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, performance tuning, and debugging of scalable systems, including OpenSearch, Kafka, and MongoDB.
  • Architect, implement, and manage infrastructure automation and deployment processes across cloud providers using both containerized and VM-based solutions.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery efficiency.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, availability, and security through proactive measures.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for reproducible and consistent environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, deployment strategies, and operational practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices across the organization.
  • Requirements:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 4–6 years of relevant DevOps or IT infrastructure experience.
    • Expertise in infrastructure automation, containerization, and orchestration tools.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipeline optimization, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
    • Strong scripting, version control, and system architecture skills.
    • Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence technical decisions.
    • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and high-level proficiency with relevant tools and technologies.
    • Knowledge of security, reliability, and performance best practices for enterprise systems.
    • Experience mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical growth.
    • Open-source contributions relevant to infrastructure and data systems are a plus.
