Your Mission
Join ClearEdge as a Senior DevOps Software Engineer, where you will design, automate, and sustain infrastructure and deployment solutions supporting secure environments. In this role, you will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks to build reliable, scalable, and compliant systems. You will play a key role in integrating development and operations practices to ensure efficient, repeatable, and secure delivery pipelines.
You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:
An experienced DevOps engineer with STE/STN experienceHighly proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practicesSkilled in Terraform, Ansible, and Packer for provisioning and configuration managementComfortable deploying and managing containerized workloads using KubernetesExperienced in building secure, repeatable deployment pipelinesKnowledgeable in system security requirements and accreditation processesCapable of collaborating across engineering, security, and operations teamsComfortable working in classified environments with complex compliance requirements
A Day in the Life Of:
Designing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using TerraformAutomating configuration management and deployments with Ansible and PackerDeploying and managing containerized applications within Kubernetes environmentsSupporting secure system builds and hardened infrastructure baselinesCollaborating with system administrators, software engineers, and security teamsTroubleshooting deployment, orchestration, and infrastructure issuesContributing to system documentation and supporting security accreditation activitiesContinuously improving automation, scalability, and system reliability
Must Haves:
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Fourteen (14) years of experience as a DevOps or Software Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (4 additional years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree)Experience as a DevOps engineer with STE/STN environmentsStrong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and PackerExperience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments
Nice to Haves:
Systems Administration background related to SSP accreditationDevelopment experience in Java or PythonExperience supporting secure or compliance-driven environments
