The Opportunity:
As a Senior Engineering Manager at Iru, you will lead the teams responsible for our core backend shared services and front-end design systems that power our entire product suite. You will own foundational systems that enable product teams to move quickly, securely, and reliably at scale.
You will manage a team of senior & staff level engineers and work closely with Engineering and Product leaders to define and execute on a platform vision that supports world-class enterprise software.
We are looking for a senior engineering leader who has experience building and scaling platform teams, empowering senior engineers, and driving large-scale architectural initiatives in high-growth SaaS environments.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying scalable backend and frontend systems (Python, Django, FastAPI, React preferred)4+ years of experience leading engineering teamsExperience building or scaling platform or shared services teamsProven success driving large, cross-functional technical initiatives in SaaS environmentsDeep understanding of distributed systems, API design, and service architectureExperience establishing or evolving front-end design systemsExperience operating in high-growth startup environments with increasing organizational complexityStrong ability to balance technical depth with organizational leadershipRequired to work on-site 3x a week in our Miami office (Coral Gables).
Nice to haves, but NOT required:
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience building internal developer platforms or toolingExperience with CI/CD pipelines and developer productivity systemsBackground in security-focused or compliance-heavy environments
