Senior Mobile Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-impact mobile experiences for iOS and Android users. You will be a key technical leader within a cross-functional product team, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to build performant, scalable, and user-friendly applications. Using React Native as the primary platform, with occasional native Swift/Kotlin integrations, you will ensure world-class mobile experiences while mentoring junior engineers. You will own end-to-end feature delivery, contribute to technical architecture, and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and performance. This position emphasizes collaboration, craftsmanship, and a product-focused mindset, enabling you to shape both the technology and the user experience.

• Lead end-to-end implementation of complex features across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality user experiences
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and scalable architectures, balancing React Native and native code where needed
• Maintain application performance, stability, and high test coverage through proactive monitoring, bug fixing, and rigorous testing (unit and integration)
• Write and maintain native modules in Swift/Kotlin to bridge platform-specific functionality with React Native
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, foster technical excellence, and promote a culture of learning through code reviews and pair programming
• Collaborate closely with Backend Engineers and Platform Engineers to define APIs, improve CI/CD pipelines, and ensure cross-functional alignment

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with professional experience delivering mobile applications
• Advanced knowledge of React Native and TypeScript, with familiarity in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) ecosystems
• Strong experience with state management, navigation libraries, native module integration, and functional programming principles
• Product mindset with a focus on end-user experience, UI/UX advocacy, and iterative improvement
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit/integration testing (e.g., Jest, Detox)
• Excellent collaboration skills, capable of communicating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
• Preferred: prior experience mentoring engineers and contributing to mobile architecture decisions
