Senior Platform Engineer

This role focuses on building and evolving a modern, cloud-native platform that powers enterprise-grade software products used to transform how organizations manage complex workflows and data-driven processes. You will work on scalable, serverless architectures in a fast-moving engineering environment, contributing to both backend systems and platform infrastructure. The position involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions. You will help shape architecture decisions, improve developer tooling, and ensure system reliability at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role combining deep technical execution with strategic platform thinking. You will also contribute to integrating AI capabilities and enhancing system performance, observability, and automation.

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services
• Develop and enhance serverless architectures using AWS technologies
• Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Build and optimize APIs, backend services, and data-driven systems
• Improve infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows
• Ensure system scalability, performance, reliability, and security
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical design discussions
• Enhance internal developer tools, engineering practices, and automation
• Participate in incident response, debugging, and production support
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical growth

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or platform engineering roles
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB or similar)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and software architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, SAM)
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS) and modern cloud deployments
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional engineering teams
• Interest in AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows
