On behalf of FEELD, GT is looking for a Senior QE Automation Engineer interested in the dating domain.

About the Client & the Project

At FEELD, they are creating a world where everyone is more intimately connected to each other and themselves. They are building an inclusive, human-centered product and are looking for a Senior QE Automation Engineer to become part of our remote team and our mission to elevate the human experience of sexuality and relationships.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our QA lead to elevate our automation strategy. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our end-to-end testing framework, ensuring that bugs are identified early in the development process. You'll be instrumental in broadening test coverage, enhancing test reliability, and nurturing a culture of ownership within our team, particularly within the automation domain.

Responsibilities:

• Work hands-on with mobile automation using Appium and WebDriverIO

• Debug, fix, and stabilize existing automated tests

• Enhance test reliability through meticulous attention to small, passing tests and gradually expanding coverage

• Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) to facilitate continuous testing

• Manage and optimize test case repositories in BrowserStack, enhancing visibility and reporting

• Monitor test results in Sentry, swiftly identifying issues and collaborating with the development team to resolve them

• Cultivate a culture of ownership in QA automation, fostering continuous improvement across the team

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• 7+ years of overall QA experience, including at least 5 years in mobile-focused QA automation

• Strong hands-on experience with Appium and WebDriverIO

• Solid experience with TypeScript for writing automated tests

• Experience with mobile app deployment via App Store Connect and Google Play, facilitating seamless integration of testing processes

• Strong understanding of test design and building stable, reliable test suites

• Experience running tests using real devices and cloud-based platforms (e.g. BrowserStack)

• Good understanding of API design and ability to work with APIs in testing

• Fluent English

• Experience with consumer-facing mobile apps (B2C) is preferred

Nice to have:

• Experience with BrowserStack

• Experience with Jest

• Experience working with high-load / high-scale applications

• Experience with Sentry or similar error monitoring tools
