Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer (Forward Deployed Engineer) working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify challenges, design scalable solutions, and deploy AI Agents that deliver measurable impact. This role leverages your engineering expertise, product intuition, and business acumen to bridge the gap between technology and real-world outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Architectural Implementation: Design and implement end-to-end AI workflows and automation using Python, APIs, and the Gruve no-/low-code platform.
- Rapid Prototyping: Execute fast-cycle prototyping, testing, and iteration to accelerate value delivery for customers.
- Enterprise Integration: Integrate AI agents with established systems including ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, and IT Ops platforms.
- AI-Augmented Development: Utilize advanced tools like Cursor/ Claude or similar Ai tools to enhance engineering speed and overall productivity.
- Solution Presentation: Deliver clear communication and demos of complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Product Feedback: Synthesize insights from field deployments to help shape the future of the Gruve product roadmap.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in software and data engineering.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python, typescript and react, with hands-on experience across APIs, databases, and data pipelines.
- Primary Skills: Deep understanding of AI/LLM systems, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, ADK, Gemini, OpenAI).
- Proven ability in Automation, API development, and AI Agent implementation.
- Solution Architecture: Experienced as a Pre-sales or Solution Architect professional capable of designing and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Operational Flexibility: Proven ability to work across multiple time zones, primarily collaborating during EST hours.
- Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills with a product-first mindset and experience in client-facing roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialized Automation: Extensive experience with AI agents and no-/low-code automation platforms.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Industry Background: Strong background in consulting, startups, or forward-deployed engineering roles.
- Domain Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise workflows in Finance, HR, IT, Sales, or Customer Success.
