The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role within each phase of the software development lifecycle. This individual will work cross-functionally with the company’s infrastructure, security, data warehouse, and other development teams to provide customer-centric solutions and build a world-class background check platform to meet the exploding growth of the company and business demands.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain service-oriented architecture platforms from start to finish.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.Promote and enforce the companies coding standards and the SDLC processInteract with internal stakeholders and external customers.Validate requirements.Create technical specifications.Support build and deployments.Integration and unit testing.Applications support / troubleshooting across environments.Provide mentorship to junior-mid level developers.
Qualifications:
BE/BTECH/MS in Computer Science or equivalent education.5+ years of system development experience as a full stack developer balancing both Front end and backend development using the following technologies:Java i18nSpring Boot FrameworkJ2EE Technologies including JSP/Servlets, JMS, JDBC, JMXRESTful Web Services/SOA, XML, XSLJAX-RS, JSONSQL Server, Mongo DBHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScriptAngular SPA Framework, NodejsAWS Services and technologiesDeep familiarity with modern web application technologies & frameworks.Experience architecting and developing enterprise integrations systems.Code Build and Deploy Tools such as Jenkins/Code Build.Solid understanding of Agile development and release processes.Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication.
