The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and scale the intelligent systems that power personalized, high-quality care delivery. Working at the intersection of clinical operations, product, AI, and logistics, this role translates complex workflows into scalable technology that improves care coordination and operational efficiency. You will be a key technical leader, partnering with Product and cross-functional teams to build infrastructure that supports scheduling, routing, AI-assisted documentation, and workflow automation. This position requires creative systems thinking, strong engineering expertise, and a passion for using technology to make measurable impacts on patient outcomes. You will play a foundational role in shaping the future of care delivery by building robust, maintainable, and intelligent software systems. Success in this role combines hands-on engineering, strategic technical leadership, and collaboration across clinical and operational teams.
Accountabilities:
Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems that support clinician workflows, scheduling, routing, and visit management.Build intelligent logistics and optimization infrastructure to maximize clinician efficiency and member outcomes.Collaborate with clinical operations, product, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.Translate operational and clinical requirements into robust, maintainable, production-grade software systems.Develop AI-enabled and automated workflows to reduce administrative burden and enhance clinician capacity.Drive technical initiatives from discovery and architecture through implementation, launch, and iteration.Contribute to engineering best practices, system reliability, and long-term scalability while influencing the product roadmap.
Requirements:
5–10+ years of experience building and scaling production systems in software engineering roles.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional backend language (Ruby, Go, C, or Java).Experience building across the stack, including backend services and frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).Comfortable working with production-grade SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with data pipelines, data orchestration, and core data structures.Experience solving complex, ambiguous problems from concept to implementation.Passion for leveraging AI, automation, and systems thinking to improve operational and clinical workflows.Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.Systems-thinking mindset, understanding the interplay between data, logistics, and human workflows.Located in or willing to work primarily within Eastern or Central Time zones.Bonus Skills:
