Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (50/50 frontend/backend) to join our team and help build a greenfield product: Gifting.

Gifting enables brands to seamlessly send products to creators, manage fulfillment, and track outcomes—powering the next generation of creator commerce.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work across the entire stack to design and build scalable systems from the ground up. You’ll partner closely with product and design to define the architecture, ship quickly, and iterate on a brand-new experience.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, JoyUI/MUI

• Backend: Python (Django), Node.js (TypeScript)

• Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, EC2)

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend (true 50/50 contribution)

• Help design and build a greenfield product, contributing to architecture and technical direction from day one

• Develop scalable APIs and services using Django and Node.js

• Build intuitive, performant UIs using React and modern component libraries

• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Ensure clean system design, maintainability, and scalability across the stack

• Implement robust testing strategies (unit, integration, and API testing)

• Optimize application performance and reliability

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

• Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• 5+ years of full stack development experience with meaningful contributions to both frontend and backend systems

• Strong experience with:

  • React + TypeScript

  • Backend development (Node.js and/or Python/Django)

• Proven ability to build and scale systems from scratch (greenfield experience strongly preferred)

• Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture

• Experience building responsive, high-quality user interfaces

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing reliable, maintainable tests

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

• Strong proficiency with Git and modern development workflows

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership

Nice to Have

• Experience with creator economy, e-commerce, or logistics/fulfillment systems

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures or async processing

• Experience integrating with third-party platforms (e.g., Shopify, shipping providers)
