This role provides a unique opportunity to design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and APIs that power critical business insights for high-growth clients. You will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex data requirements into scalable, reliable solutions. The position offers hands-on experience with both real-time and batch processing architectures, integrating data from multiple sources such as ad platforms, eCommerce systems, and internal event streams. Success in this role requires curiosity, technical rigor, and the ability to balance rapid development with long-term platform stability. You will play a key role in shaping the company’s data infrastructure while learning from a team of experienced engineers in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
Accountabilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from diverse sources.Develop and manage APIs for secure, tenant-aware data integrations with external systems.Build and optimize ETL workflows for both batch and real-time data processing while ensuring reliability and observability.Implement monitoring, alerting, and instrumentation to track data freshness, performance, and system health.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create flexible and extensible integration platforms.Maintain clean, maintainable code while balancing rapid development cycles with long-term system stability.Contribute to platform architecture discussions, driving improvements in multi-tenant data systems and authentication workflows.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or integration engineering, with strong focus on ETL, APIs, and data pipelines.Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in BigQuery or equivalent data warehouses.Hands-on experience with API-based integrations including REST, GraphQL, and Webhooks.Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow for managing complex workflows.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance short-term deliverables with long-term platform stability.Experience implementing authentication flows (OAuth, API keys) and secure multi-tenant architectures.Bonus: familiarity with ERP, CRM, or CDP systems, event-driven architectures, or knowledge of GDPR/SOC2 compliance best practices.
