Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Engagement team at Branch, someone who raises the bar not just technically, but in how we think, collaborate, and build as a team.

We design and build easy-to-use tools that help marketers create and track seamless connected experiences powered by links

Our Engagement product helps the world’s leading brands create and track seamless connected experiences powered by links with a variety of formats such as short deep links, web banners, and QR codes. It’s our most visible and widely-used offering, powering billions of interactions daily and directly impacting growth, retention, and revenue for our customers. As part of the Engagement team, you’ll work on the surfaces and infrastructure that make these journeys feel effortless for users and measurable for marketers.

You’re a great fit if:

  • You're proactive and curious, always looking to understand how things work across the codebase, product, and customer experience.
  • You’re a pace setter, the kind of person who speeds up the team around them through clarity, action, and craft.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and know how to make progress even when requirements are fuzzy.
  • You care about customer and business impact, not just implementation details.
  • You bring high agency. Perhaps as a former startup founder, solo builder, or early team member who had to figure things out.
  • You have strong learning instincts, especially in new domains like AI. You like to tinker, explore, and share what you’ve learned.

We’re especially excited about engineers who’ve launched products or built things end-to-end, and who balance engineering intuition with product thinking.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Engagement team, you’ll help shape how millions of users experience Branch across our core surfaces. You will:

  • Build and own features across the full stack from API to UI.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design on early requirements and tradeoffs.
  • Improve architectural foundations, testing practices, and engineering velocity.
  • Bridge frontend and backend systems with clean, intentional design.
  • Lead with pragmatism and initiative in fast-moving, often ambiguous spaces.

This role is highly collaborative and impactful. You’ll not just ship code but influence product direction, development quality, and team norms.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in modern frontend and backend development (React, TypeScript, Node, APIs, etc.)
  • Experience designing, building, and integrating APIs
  • Strong software fundamentals, especially around testing, architecture, and systems thinking
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners
  • Track record of impact, leadership, or product ownership
  • Interest or experience in AI technologies or projects

This role is fully remote and does not qualify for relocation or visa sponsorship.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in Austin, TX, is $127,000 to $165,000.

The salary range provided represents base compensation and does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions. From health and wellness programs to paid time off and retirement planning options, we provide a range of benefits for qualified employees.
