This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in the United States.
This role provides the opportunity to shape and evolve a cutting-edge Data Intelligence Platform that powers AI-driven features and agentic capabilities. The Senior Software Engineer will work across a modern tech stack, partnering closely with Data Science and Product Engineering teams to define standards, tooling, and infrastructure for scalable, high-quality development. Responsibilities include building and enhancing data pipelines, designing autonomous agent systems, and implementing best practices for software, data, and AI/ML engineering. This position allows for meaningful impact on engineering culture, platform reliability, and product innovation in a fully remote, fast-paced, and high-accountability environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and enhance the Data Intelligence Platform, including pipelines, tooling, and agentic infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Product Engineering teams to develop AI platform capabilities and complex models
  • Design, orchestrate, and deploy autonomous agents across the product ecosystem
  • Implement best practices for software, data, and ML/AI engineering to strengthen platform reliability and performance
  • Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and scalable platform features for ingestion, storage, validation, governance, and monitoring
  • Use AI-assisted code generation while ensuring code quality, security, and performance
  • Conduct code reviews, contribute to documentation, and elevate engineering standards
  • Bring a product-focused mindset to planning, shaping vision, goals, and roadmap
  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years of software development experience with strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and design principles
  • Proficiency in languages used for data and AI (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go, Scala), as well as SQL and relational/NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts: ETL pipelines, data modeling, schema design, enrichment, and governance
  • Experience with cloud-native big data environments and optimizing for cost and performance
  • Familiarity with Python frameworks (Django is a plus)
  • Experience or interest in MLOps, AI model development, or knowledge graphs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across engineering, product, design, and customer-facing teams remotely
  • Nice to have: experience with agentic systems, autonomous agents, DBT, Airflow, Snowflake, or background in HR tech/people systems
