Senior Software Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a small, high-performing engineering team building innovative document automation products. You will work across the full web stack, from front-end interfaces to cloud infrastructure, helping deliver features that directly impact users. The position emphasizes collaboration with designers, product managers, and other engineers to craft well-designed, maintainable software. Success in this role comes from combining technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and thoughtful communication. You will also provide technical leadership, mentor peers, and help the team iterate on architecture, processes, and product quality. • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software across the full web stack, using technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, and AWS
• Collaborate with product and design teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions to maintain high engineering standards
• Mentor and support other engineers, providing guidance and fostering professional growth
• Continuously improve software architecture, processes, and product quality to maximize team efficiency
• Contribute to operational excellence by ensuring code is maintainable, scalable, and reliable
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the team to ensure alignment on priorities and technical decisions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with JavaScript and 3+ years working in AWS or a comparable cloud environment
• Experience across the web stack (front-end, back-end, infrastructure), with the ability to be productive in multiple layers
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with designers, product managers, and other engineers
• Proven ability to ship high-quality software and solve complex problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring teammates
• Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
