The Role
We’re seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in event-driven architectures and cloud-native development. This key position offers a defined pathway to technical leadership for candidates who demonstrate architectural vision and team leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence while mentoring team members and influencing our engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade, scalable software solutions using TypeScript and modern architecture patternsSpearhead implementation of complex event-driven systems following Event-Sourcing and CQRS patternsLead development of cloud-native applications on AWS following clean architecture principlesDrive technical decision-making and solution design within cross-functional teamsEstablish engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelinesProvide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineersConduct thorough code reviews and ensure quality through rigorous testing methodologiesParticipate in technical leadership discussions and contribute to strategic technology roadmapsImplement and maintain DevOps practices and infrastructure as code deployments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)5+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environmentsDemonstrated mastery of TypeScript and JavaScript with advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming principles (Java or C# expertise is valued)Proven track record implementing Event-Sourcing and CQRS architectural patterns in production environmentsExtensive experience with event streaming technologies such as AWS Event-Bridge or KafkaAdvanced proficiency in unit testing and integration testing using frameworks like JEST, with commitment to test-driven developmentExpert understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and enterprise design patternsComprehensive experience with AWS cloud platform, particularly DynamoDB, SQS, Event-Bridge, and DocumentDBDemonstrated proficiency with DevOps practices including ECS, Fargate, AWS CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as CodeExceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesOutstanding communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
