This role offers a rare opportunity to shape the foundation of a modern, enterprise-grade cloud platform. As a senior technical leader, you will design, build, and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure while collaborating with multi-cloud environments. You will drive cloud architecture standards, disaster recovery strategies, and developer experience improvements, while mentoring engineers and influencing platform-wide best practices. Accountabilities:
Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.Lead the design and management of core cloud services, including networking, identity and access management, account hierarchy, and resource governance.Define and enforce cloud architecture standards for availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.Implement and maintain enterprise-level disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.Build internal tooling and automation to streamline cloud adoption, resource provisioning, and developer workflows.Serve as a mentor and technical leader, guiding engineers across platform, SRE, and product teams.Partner with security, compliance, and operations teams to enforce policies and best practices.Represent the platform team in architecture reviews, planning sessions, and cross-functional programs.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure roles, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure.Proven track record supporting enterprise SaaS applications in production environments.Expertise in cloud networking, identity/access management, multi-account architecture, and policy enforcement.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).Experience defining and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale technical initiatives and influence architecture beyond your immediate team.Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in fast-paced, distributed environments.Bonus: Multi-cloud experience, internal developer platforms, service mesh, API gateway patterns, or familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks.
