Seeking an experienced senior developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale. The software engineer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then deliver innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with agency appropriate polyBachelor's degree plus 11-years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Required Technical Skills
Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, Python PySparkStrong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentalsStrong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big dataProficiency with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; experience with Agile methodologies
Desired Technical Skills
Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming.Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs)
