Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineer who will develop pipeline development to support a range of government programs in a secure environment. This role focuses on designing, building, software systems and optimizing data pipelines that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and mission-critical decision support.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop signal processing software components using Java, and Python
- Define and implement data formatting and interface specifications
- Design, develop and implement algorithms for specialized automated processes and interfaces with databases
- Develop scripts to support remote deployment, troubleshooting and system maintenance activities
- Document software release descriptions and remote deployment procedures
Here's what you need:
- 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with Java and Python scripting
- Experience with database programming such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLAlchemy
- Experience with any developmental tools such as , but not limited to: Docker, GitHub, GitLab, etc.
Bonus points if you have:
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data engineering, data science or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting federal programs
- Familiarity with data lake and data warehouse technologies such as: Snowflake, Redshift, and/or BigQuery
- Knowledge of machine learning model deployment and MLOps practices
Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI federal security clearance is required
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
$116,900—$160,100 USD
