What You Will Do
Translate our product’s goals into iterative MVPs, evaluate, and then refactor into a scalable and extensible designPair with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spread design philosophy, goals and improvements to code quality across the teamDesign and develop highly scalable, highly available, reliable, secure and fault-tolerant systems with minimal guidanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product, DevOps, Ops, UX, QA, etc) on planning and executionManage automated build/test/deployment environmentsContinuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize developmentDeploy, monitor, maintain, and fix products currently in production
What You Will Need
At least 3+ years of relevant software development experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applicationsProficiency in OOP, SQL, and Design Patterns; prior professional experience with Java and Spring is a plusDeep understanding of micro-services and experience with Kafka, Postgresql, Kubernetes, Istio is expected Experience with DevOps: Gitlab CI, DockerProven experience in delivering solutions for complex technical challenges with a strong commitment to timely and effective deliveryAbility to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery; well-versed with Agile methodologies, TDD and Test Engineering and AutomationExperience with cryptography is a big plus
