As a Software Engineer for Merchant Services, you will be handed the reins overall delivery of your team and work very closely with business stakeholders and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Along with collaboration with the business and products, you will be in charge of delivering high quality products. Working closely with engineers and product managers, you will be expected to be passionate about maintaining a clean and maintainable code base whether it’s new or existing one. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to provide a secure and reliable payment ecosystem for all our merchants.

What You Will Do

Attend daily standup meetings, do sprint planning/backlog reviews, communicate project/development status to internal and external teams in a timely fashion

Analyze and estimate product requirements defined by Product Manager/Product Owner

Work with Business, Product, and Dev teams in close coordination

Own products in terms of quality, stability, and user experience

What You Will Need

Have at least 2 years of experience working in backend REST API

Well-versed in Java and Python as plus point

Proficient in OOP, SQL, Design Patterns, software best practices, data modeling in relational and/or NoSQL databases

Able to scope and review user stories and make them into an actionable item

Have supportive and high collaborative attitude

Passionate in learning new things and taking challenges

Good analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and debugging skills
